We do like our Saturday night pot luck dinners. Many were creative and shared their freeze dried dinner, a few brought the dutch oven and shared some yummy food, too!

Canyon is huge, look at all those little boats down there.

Another spectacular view just after launching from the second night campsite. Just around the "horseshoe" bend.

Friends playing on the beach...burrr, the water was about 58 degrees, but still fun!

Outstanding views of the canyon, still water...runs deep and beautiful.

Video of Cascade Falls in Yosemite.

This is a Video of Cascade Falls in Yosemite. This gives an idea of how powerful the waterfalls are; glorious views and you can stand and watch them for hours and not see it all. Enjoy:)

Yosemite

Us overlooking the Valley. The power of Bridalveil falls, a view of upper and lower Yosemite falls; Half Dome and El Capitan. We saw them all. These are just an overview of the awesome sites and streaming waterfalls filled to the brim with the snow melt from last winter.

Lake Tahoe

Lake Tahoe; beautiful paddle, wonderful views and lots of boulders in and out of the water. We have about 300 pictures of Lake Tahoe, enjoy these samples.

Sonoma Beach

Beautiful views of ocean near Sonoma Beach Park. Seals were plentiful and playing on beach and in the water. This is where the Russian River meets the Pacific Ocean.

Horseshoe Falls

We watched this waterfall right from camp. Seems like we couldn't stop looking at the wonder of all of the water!

Twin Lakes

Another beautiful view of lakes in the Mammoth Lakes area.

Silver Lake

Silver Lake wonderful kayaking view, love the reflections in the water.

Half Dome

This is a picture of Half Dome in Yosemite. This is from the back side from a viewpoint called Olmstead. It's an incredible site!

Tenaya Lake in Yosemite Park

Tenaya Lake at Yosemite. We paddled right into the snow drifts. The campground was under snow and water. We ventured into the crevases of the snow and slow moving river that feeds into this lake. It was about 54 degrees when we got on the lake...burrrr.

Frozen Lake Tioga Pass

This is Tioga Lake at Yosemite east end; unbelievable still frozen in June! We did not paddle this lake...maybe by August?

Twin Lakes

This is a very large waterfall flowing into Twin Lakes at Mammoth Lakes area. Snow was abundant and the campground was still under water and large snow drifts.

Silver Lake

Another beautiful view. There is a huge waterfall in the middle of the picture called Horseshoe Falls, you could hear the roar of the water from the lake. Nice!

June Lake

This is June Lake, we camped nearby and paddled the entire lake. This is a great view from morning with the reflection of snow packed mountain. All we can say repeatedly is "WOW".

Convict Lake

This lake is close to Mammoth Lakes, we visited and saw the overflowing creek that feeds this lake.
